[DEEP RESEARCH] Operation Endgame Was the Takedown. The Rebuild Is the Test.

Operation Endgame gave defenders a rare clean scoreboard: servers and domains actioned, credentials recovered, crypto assets restricted, and compromised websites remediated.

That is real progress. It is also not the end of the analysis.

The harder question is whether SocGholish, Amadey, and StealC became meaningfully weaker, or whether the criminal supply chain simply absorbed the hit and started rebuilding around it. For analysts, the lesson is bigger than one operation: do not confuse disruption metrics with disruption effects.

The useful work now is measuring reconstitution — infrastructure, traffic supply, affiliate trust, monetization, and downstream impact.

Because cybercrime crews usually try to come back. The signal is whether coming back is cheap, fast, and trusted, or expensive, noisy, and fragile.
